North Iowa Fur Company is father and son business located in Northeast Iowa in the town of Fredericksburg, IA.
Harvey Drewelow started the business in 1960, buying fur in Boyd, IA. The business has since moved to its current location in Fredericksburg in 1990. Harvey started out trapping as a young boy, enjoyed the sport and started buying furs from a few neighbors and friends. The business grew into what it is today.
Bill Drewelow, having been around the business his whole life, took over ownership in 2000 and currently runs the day-to-day activities of the business.
